The Cardiac Innovation Center leads the way in transparency, fully presenting its data and comparing the results of various surgeries with those of leading cardiac surgery centers

in Germany.

  • Coronary artery bypass surgeries (Bypass): Mortality rate at 1%, compared to 2.4% in Germany.

  • Single valve replacement surgeries: Mortality rate at just 0.7%, while in Germany, it reaches 3.0%.

  • Pulmonary valve replacement surgeries: The mortality rate at the Cardiac Innovation Center remains zero (0%), compared to 10.7% in Germany.

  • Aneurysm surgeries: Mortality rate at 2.2%, while in Germany it stands at 8.1%.

  • Congenital heart disease surgeries: Mortality rates are the same, at 1.6%, both at the Cardiac Innovation Center and in Germany.
